English Camp Counsellor for Camps

Are you interested in teaching and working with children (kids & teens)? Passionate about language, sports and nature? Would you like to gain real work experience through a paid internship? Then this is the perfect opportunity for you!

camps for friends is looking for enthusiastic English native speakers to teach English, lead activities, and help run the sports programmes at our English camps in Germany. Join us as a camp counsellor (Junior/Senior) and spend your Easter, Summer or Autumn holidays at a beautiful German lake, at the seaside, or in the sunny countryside!

Your Profile

You are an EU citizen or have a valid working permit for Germany,
You are a native English speaker,
You are a current student or recent university graduate,
You are enthusiastic about sports and could coach/run sports programmes like soccer, volley-/basketball, table tennis etc.
You ideally have experience working with kids, and in one of the following areas: language teaching, outdoor education, nature and environment.

Your Tasks

In addition to being responsible for the well-being of the campers, you will run small-group English lessons, evening activities, and sports programmes depending on your strengths and interests.

Camp Details

1 and 2 week camps between the dates of April 13 – November 2,
Camps take place at top holiday locations throughout Germany, i. e. Chiemsee, Lake Constance, Sylt etc.
Camp Counsellors assigned to various camp weeks throughout the season.
